Julian Aguon delivers constitutional law training to Pacific Island judges from Palau, the Marshall Islands, the Federated States of Micronesia, and American Samoa
Honolulu, HI. On July 23, 2015, Julian Aguon delivered a constitutional law training on the Insular Cases and the doctrine of territorial incorporation at the William S. Richardson School of Law, as part of an intensive week-long legal training offered by the Pacific Islands Legal Institute and administered by the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Participating were 16 judges from Palau, FSM, RMI, and American Samoa, who are prominent members of their communities, but may not necessarily have law degrees. Other trainers included Sherry Broder, Sylvia Law, Avi Soifer, Federal Magistrate Judge Barry Kurren, Federal District Court Judge Michael Seabright, and Federal Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals Judge Richard Clifton.
