Julian Aguon gives presentation on deep sea mining at the University of Hawai`i-Manoa

Honolulu, HI. On April 4, 2015, Julian Aguon delivered a presentation on behalf of Pacific civil society at Malama Kai Hohonu, a one-day symposium on deep seabed mining held at the University of Hawai`i-Manoa. Julian provided an analytical framework for addressing the human rights implications of deep sea mining activities proposed in the domestic waters and adjacent international waters of several Pacific Island states.
