BOL Hosts Regional Human Rights Forum at the 12th Festival of Pacific Arts

Hagatna, GU. On June 2, 2016, Blue Ocean Law, in partnership with WestCare Pacific Islands, hosted an event entitled “In Defense of the Sacred: A Regional Forum on Human Rights and the Communities that Defend Them.” Panelists from West Papua, Fiji, Papua New Guinea, the Marshall Islands, FSM, and Guam spoke on topics ranging from self-determination and climate change, to experimental deep sea mining.
